MDS Analytical Technologies ImageXpress MICRO and ULTRA imaging systems offer a complete solution for High-content screening (HCS) and High-content analysis (HCA). The ImageXpressMICRO is an epifluorescent microscope imager optimized for speed and small footprint. The ImageXpressULTRA is a point-scanning confocal system featuring two to four solid-state lasers providing up to 4 simultaneous excitation wavelengths. Both utilize MetaXpress image analysis software and both are specifically designed to be compatible with automation such as offered by Caliper Life Sciences. Caliper has integrated the ImageXpress into Staccato, Ensemble and Reprise automation systems, many of which include the Twister® II robotic plate server, the Sciclone Advanced Liquid Handler and iLinkPro™ scheduling and control software. Caliper’s unique portfolio of systems ensures you total flexibility for future expansion and reconfiguration to meet unforeseen needs, changes in methods, and increased throughput and capacity.

Twister II’s tall vertical reach and modular storage racks make it compatible with virtually any device. This proven, low-cost microplate handler provides a time saving alternative to stackers and a money saving alternative to larger, more complex plate transport systems. Cell based assays can be highly technique-dependent and often greatly benefit from the consistent and precisely controllable liquid handling of the Sciclone G3, the most flexible liquid handler available. Caliper's industry leading iLinkPro software is used tightly integrate a variety of instruments and to create sample preparation methods with tight control over plate-to-plate event scheduling. Other peripheral devices, such as incubators and bar code readers are easily integrated as needed in Caliper’s flexible systems.
