iSTAX® Plate Stacking Solutions
Plate Stackers
iSTAX are modular plate stacker storage devices for microplates and nested tip racks. When coupled to the Linear Rail Transport System, or LRTS(r), iSTAX provide an ideal solution for extended walk-away lab automation.
Each stack is capable of holding up to 40 SBS standard micro plates. Built with industrial grade components, iSTAX technology allows plates or lids to be quickly loaded or unloaded from the LRTS. iSTAX includes an Instrument Control Program (ICP) that allows users to configure and exercise individual stacks, or groups of stacks. Stacks may be set-up to process plates individually or in groups, providing exceptional flexibility and high throughput. iSTAX racks are compatible with Caliper's Twister II plate handling laboratory robotics systems, allowing for easy transport to assay systems and snap in loading.
