Histone Deacetylase (HDAC) Substrates
Histone Deacetylases are an important drug target class. HDAC’s are a type of enzymes that remove acetyl groups from an ε-N-acetyl lysine amino acid on a histone. These HDAC’s play critical roles in controlling gene expression and therefore are important for cancer, inflammation and aging.
Caliper now offers 3 LabChip qualified HDAC substrates, derived from 3 natural substrates of these enzymes- Histone 3, Histone 4, and p53 Tumor Suppressor.
HDAC substrates have been validated using Caliper's LabChip mobility shift assay platform.
